A wonderful, calming, peaceful session for self-indulgence, inside our new Yurt in the garden.

"Coorie" is a Scottish word traditionally meaning 'to snuggle' or 'cuddle'

You may notice we have changed our name to become Aberdeen Bowen and EMMETT therapies. The reason for the change is a reflection on the growing popularity of EMMETT in the UK. EMMETT is similar to, but not the same as Bowen. When you visit us we might combine Bowen with EMMETT but that would be dependent on your body.

People often find Bowen and EMMETT after they have tried everything else.

The Bowen and EMMETT Technique is a gentle, non-invasive practice that addresses the body as a whole rather than a particular symptom. It has the potential to create change in the body without manipulation, cracking of bones, or application of oils. As a hands on therapy the therapist uses a series of gentle, light pressure moves/rolls on the body and allows suitable time-gaps between each move to let the body process the changes.

Bowen and EMMETT can be beneficial in a wide range of situations. It can assist recovery from many conditions, from traumatic injury to chronic illness, depending upon each individual's capacity to heal.
